Happy (Not) Valentine's Day!!

Hey everyone, it's Valentine's Day this week!! Which actually doesnt mean anything here in brasil, their valentines day is June 12th. But anyways....

The time is flyingggggg by, can't belive how fast this life is!! It feels a little slow when you're baking in the 3 o'clock sun, but when Sunday comes you're asking where did the week go?? There's always so much more to do, so many more people to find and teach!! Time is PRECIOUS!!

Miracle of the week:
It was 7pm, we had barely eaten and were starvinggg. But we don't have time to go back to our house so we were just kinda praying that someone would have the good will to bless us with a sandwich or something. Fast forward, and by the end of the night we came home with a whole thing of linguiƧa, a loaf of homemade bread, and a jar of doce de leite with ameixa. SO YEA THE LORD BLESSES THE FAITHFUL YA'LL! So our stomachs and hearts were definitley happy and grateful that day :)

This week we had an activity in our branch recreating the iron rod and the tree of life story in the Book of Mormon. And guess who got to be the devil tempting people and trying to lead them off the path?  YES my voice was sore and way gone from yelling mean things at people by the end of the night, but it was WAY fun. Turns out I'm pretty good at tempting people...

Also, my wonderful amazing mom sent me an AMAZING talk this week! it's called The Two Trees by Valerie Hudson, and is about the fall and the importance of the two trees in the garden of eden. I DEFINITELY  suggest that you guys read it, it is THE BOMB. I'm SO SO grateful for the chance that we have to be here on Earth, to have the right to choose! This week choose to be kind, choose to be patient, and choose to love!!
